Fernando Saltiel is an Assistant Professor of Economics at McGill University and maintains an affiliation with Duke University. He completed his PhD at University of Maryland, College Park in 2019 and holds an MPP in Public Policy. He previously worked in the Economic Studies division at the Brookings Institution. His research focuses on topics related to labor economics and the economics of education in developed and developing countries. His work has been published in Economic Inquiry and and he has contributed co-authored chapters to various academic books.
