Irene Brambilla is a Professor of Economics at Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP). She is also a Visiting Professor at Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA) and a Researcher at CONICET. Previously she held a position of Assistant Professor at Yale University. She obtained her Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2004.

Professor Brambilla's research interest are international trade and applied microeconomics. Her work has been published in American Economic Review, Review of Economics and Statistics, and Journal of International Economics.
